ABOUT
Lincolnshire and Cheshire-rooted, working with founders and brands across the UK.

Hello
I’m Becky Newmarch,
The PR and content person behind Newmarch PR. Cliché lover of a flat white and almond croissant (even better if it's pistachio), unashamed Rightmove addict, born-again bookworm thanks to Bob Mortimer's The Hotel Avocado, and always hunting out the smallest patch of sunshine to wallow in.
But let's rewind. For the best part of a decade, I've spotted the content ideas and story angles worth pitching to the press faster than most people could find their car keys (over ten years working for brands like Dyson, Unilever and GoDaddy taught me exactly how to catch a journalist's attention, and keep it).
More recently, I've been helping start-ups, founders, experts and independent businesses find and tell the story that gets them featured, and remembered.
WELCOME!
I’m Becky Newmarch,
and I’m here to make PR perfectly real and brilliantly effective for creators, movers, and makers like you.
After years of working with powerhouse brands in polished boardrooms across tech and consumer goods, managing everything from product launches to building brand equity and sustainability agendas, I decided that I wanted to do PR differently – so I broke out of the tight corporate boxes to focus on businesses with heart, grit, and stories worth shouting about.
I'm a freelance public relations and content consultant for brands who want to be known, not just seen.
Newmarch PR is for founders, experts and brands with something worth saying, even if you don't yet know how to turn it into content or a pitch a journalist can't ignore. My method's simple: talk about what you know, before you talk about what you do.
My job is to find the insight, the experience, the everyday thing you know better than anyone, and turn it into content your audience connects with and stories journalists want to run.

PR and content creation can feel daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.
Confession: I've banned myself from ever buying black or grey clothing again. I write actual letters. I've propagated so many plants my windowsill looks like a small jungle uprising. I've been on You've Been Framed Twice (be warned, they only pay you the £250 once).
I've sat on both sides of the table in my career. In-house, watching what makes a business unique. Agency-side, watching what gets a journalist to say yes. And in consumer insights, learning what makes people stop scrolling and start caring. Most PR people have one of those. I've got all three, which is the real reason I can spot the story you can't see in your own business, you're too close to it, and I'm not.
That's how a 30 Under 30 win happened. It's how I've ended up in Forbes, Stylist and the Guardian myself, and on BBC Radio. Not to boast, well, maybe a little, but because it means I know exactly what it takes to get you there too.
Why me?

Because you don't want to be featured once and forgotten.
You want to be the name people remember, the one they message their friends about, the one they save to favourites and 'add to basket'.
I'm the person who reads your business with a journalist's eye, an insight researcher's curiosity, and twelve years of knowing exactly what a newsroom really wants (not what an agency polished deck says they want).
Let's work together.

WHY NEWMARCH PR?
PR can feel daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.
PR can (and should) feel like an extension of your voice, your vibe, and your values. I don’t do factory-line pitches or borrrring press releases. I work with purpose-driven brands to create PR that gets people talking, clicking, and remembering.
“Over 400 new followers and counting and we’ve had a huge influx of orders on our website. It’s insane!
Thank you so much.”

A bit more about me...
When I'm not helping brands make headlines or creating PR magic, you’ll find me planning my next travel adventure, hitting the gym or hockey field, and attempting to create a garden in my tiny backyard (one day!).
Newmarch PR is about connecting people through stories, and I’m endlessly inspired by the innovators and creators I get to work with every day.
If you’re ready to step into the spotlight and be celebrated, let’s have a chat. I can’t wait to see what we can create together.
I'm genuinely fed up of everyone sounding the same.
Spoiler alert: so are your audience and journalists too. Same headlines, same claims, same content everyone else is already posting, so they scroll straight past you before it even registers. Your content or pitch has one job: be the one thing that doesn't read copy-pasted.
Because then? It can start getting you remembered.
